We did our first day of school yesterday! Not going to let any hurricane stop us 😉 Alia was so excited to start! Kaden was not. Overall it went pretty well – we keep our days light, because Leo won’t allow anything else!

Alia’s favorite part was handwriting. She’s been looking forward to it so much. I enjoy our read alouds most, & we get a lot of subject variety in that way too! Kaden likes it when our daily plans are over & he can play Legos or get outside.

I think we’re pretty prepped for the hurricane, nearly 12 years in Florida & I’ve yet to see one, so should be interesting? We prepped a downstairs closet for a shelter room, I told the kids it’s like play camping, so they think it’s fun 🙂
