Green Meadows Farm
We went to Green Meadows Farm today. It was so much fun! Kaden had a blast, and Alia had fun too. Spotting a pumpkin. She yells “pahbah!” when she sees one. Kaden loved pumpkins so much when he was one, I was hoping Alia would too. She does 🙂Alia’s first horse ride! She was kind of unsure about it. I walked with her and she gripped on to my arm the whole time. But seriously, how is she this big already?!“I want to watch them clean up poop!”This place even has a train. Sling-eating goat. The ducks were a lot of fun. Kaden started out slow but he was soon tearing across the pen in a wild attempt to catch one for himself. He was much better than last year, and caught at least 3 or 4. At one point I looked up and he was holding a duck spinning around in a circle like he was dancing with it. It was ridiculously funny. Alia was a little wary of the ducks (and goats, and sheep, and chickens.) Just wait til next year, ducks. And the chickens! The tour guide told us that you can tell what color of eggs a chicken will lay by the color of their ear lobe! Who knew. Probably my grandma. This chicken K held over his shoulder with one arm while he tried to catch another with the other. We let Alia have a go in the chicken pen too. Brushing her off after a stumble. BFFs. Alia was thrilled when we got to the pumpkins & was very happy when I sat her down in a big pile of them.
I couldn’t pick a favorite of her with the pumpkins. Kaden took a long time inspecting all the pumpkins until he found the perfect one to take home.Last year’s trip to Green Meadows here.
