Chocolate Chip Cookies
These cookies are amazing – not to mention they contain no wheat, dairy, eggs, or sugar! They’re definitely a go-to baking item in our house 🙂
Ingredients
- ½ cup olive oil
- ¾ cup maple syrup
- 1 ¾ cups oat flour (blend 1 ¾ cups rolled oats in a blender)
- 1 ½ cups rolled oats
- ¾ teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ¾ cup chocolate chips
- ¾ cup chopped walnuts, optional
Mix dry ingredients in one bowl, and wet ingredients in another. Add the dry ingredients to the wet and combine. Cover 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper. Put rounded teaspoonfuls of dough on the sheets, slightly flatten them, & bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes.

September 21, 2011 at 11:45 amI made these cookies. They taste great. But they are very crumbly. I wondered if you have this problem, if so do you know what I need to do different.

September 21, 2011 at 12:58 pmThey can be a little on the crumbly side. One thing I do to help is make sure they’re squished together well before they’re baked- like put the dough in a spoon & form it with your hand & then place it on the baking sheet. Or you could also try adding an egg to them too. Hope that helps 🙂
