It wasn’t really a party, but when your family has 13 people, it does kind of feel like it!

It’s always special to decorate my parent’s tree, and see the same ornaments we’ve been hanging for the past 20+ years. 

My mom said as we were decorating, that having each of us kids choose an ornament of our favorite thing each year was one of her favorite things they did. Now we have a tree full of special memories 🙂

Landon and I have continued the ornament tradition with our kids. This year Kaden got a boxcar (for the Boxcar Children), Alia got Alice in Wonderland, & Leo got Snoopy. It really does make for a wonderfully special Christmas tree.

We finished the afternoon with Jingle Jangle & fresh Chex mix, doesn’t get much better than that 🙂
