Muesli

I actually just call this “oats” when I make it, mostly because I have no idea how to pronounce “muesli”. And “oats” is kind of fun 🙂

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups oats
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds
  • 1 cup chopped dried apricots
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Mix it all together, store it, & eat it with almond milk 🙂 Truthfully, you could eat it with whatever you like – yogurt, orange juice, etc. And the ingredients list & measurements are very flexible – use pecans, raisins, dried pineapple, banana chips, coconut, anything you want.

I love this for breakfast because it’s super convenient like cereal, but not processed at all. And everything in it is a good source of iron, so bonus points for that!
