Banana Bread

This recipe is a favorite for past ripe bananas (although they rarely get to that point in our house – Kaden thinks he’s entitled to at least one banana a day 😉

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups whole wheat pastry flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ½ cup honey
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup almond milk
  • 1 ½ tsp vanilla
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • ¼ cup chopped walnuts, optional

Mix all ingredients. Pour batter into oiled pan, and bake at 350 for about 45 minutes (until an inserted knife comes out clean.)
