Disney at Night

Even though we live and work at Disney World sometimes we forget about all the fun things there are to do here. We had some coupons from last year’s Cast Holiday package that expire in a few weeks, so we decided to take the kids out to dinner and the parks last night.

We ate at The Garden Grill in Epcot. The food was so-so, definitely not the best Character Dining menu (our favorite is Chef Mickey’s, and The Crystal Palace is really good too.) But we chose it because Mickey would be there & Kaden really enjoyed it. Alia however did not. I was concerned she may be reaching the age where furry friends become frightening and that they were. She wanted nothing to do with them. By the time the third character made his way to our table she was in full force giving him concerned/angry looks as she backed away as far as her little body would let her. I asked her “You don’t like Chip?” and she forcefully shook her head “No!” Mickey she had a little more tolerance for, I think because we sang “bum bum bum bum bum bum” when he came by and she knew he was from the Clubhouse, but she still wouldn’t let him anywhere near her.

After dinner we took two monorail rides over to Magic Kingdom. Kaden feels the monorail is the greatest ride in all the parks.

The autumn decorations are up and look so pretty.

I got it out of the diaper bag & she saw & started bouncing up and down. I love having her close to snuggle too.Processed with VSCOcam with x1 presetIMG_0382Processed with VSCOcam with f2 presetDisney at night.
