Some of my favorite and most vivid childhood memories are of the times we spent at my grandparents’ house in Iowa. There was always plenty of food, family, conversation, and laughter. Now my grandma lives here in Florida, and today we spent the day with her.

Although her house is different than the ones she lived in while we were growing up, much of it is the same. It feels like a comfortable and happy, familiar place.

Kaden watered flowers for the first time, which he found to be greatly enjoyable. (He also found harassing the cat and messing in boxes of glass decor enjoyable, but the plants were the safest option 😉
