New years are so exciting. I love the freshness and potential it brings. It’s like the first page of a new journal. How exciting!

I think it’s so fun to brainstorm & set goals, to think about the kind of things we’ll do & create and experience πŸ™‚

This year I’m hoping to…

Go somewhere new – maybe explore part of Florida we’ve never been to. Have an adventure & have fun.

Get a NEV – a second vehicle would be so nice, especially if it didn’t require gasoline!

Be happy – Don’t worry. Just be happy.

Exercise once a week (minimum) – okay, hopefully more than once a week, but if I actually did that it would be about 48 times more than I exercised this year πŸ˜› I think aiming low could make it feel more doable & would at least get it on my radar.

Be in the sun 3x/week – really need some more vitamin D, for me and the kids. Plus, kids love to be outside. Just because I don’t doesn’t mean they don’t…

Read Sun Stand Still – I borrowed it from a friend like a year ago. And it’s still sitting on my shelf. Unopened. (Sorry Ryan, I promise to get it back to you soon!)

Take pictures – not too hard πŸ™‚

Organize & clean – when we moved into our new home two weeks before Alia was born I had just enough time to unpack & make it a little homey. Now I’d like to make it very clean, organized, & functional. And clutter-free. A new year feels like the perfect time for some freshening up & spring cleaning. And since January in Florida is almost like springtime, it feels good to go with it πŸ™‚

Save for a house – really want to own a home one day. Gotta start sometime.

Reread enjoying the small things – my favorite blog. Really love the perspective it puts on life.
